providing humanitarian aid: two ambulances, food and medical equipment
In June, 2022 charter members and volunteers of the Rotary Club Kyiv arranged delivery of two ambulances from Italy to Ukraine. The ambulances were delivered to the Ukrainian cities: Kharkiv and Chernyhiv, which have suffered from the war in Ukraine.
The project has started from an initiative of Associazione Rotary Internazionale Distretto that has expressed a wish to help Ukraine and its citizens in today's difficult period of war.

After a discussion of cooperation between the Rotary Clubs, members of the Italian Rotary Club bought and carried out a technical check of two ambulances for Ukraine. In addition, the ROTARY CLUB in Italy has sent to Ukraine some medicines and food, which were transported inside the ambulances.
The cars were delivered by truck. Dmytro Chorniy, a charter member of the Rotary Club Kyiv International, met the cars and filmed us report. The Rotary Club Rakhiv unloaded the car. They found a special place for this and left the car in storage until further delivery to the final destination.
This project has become very important and useful experience of cooperation between the Rotary Clubs and their members from different countries.
The Rotary Kyiv Club is grateful to Italy for helping and supporting Ukraine as much as for creating an opportunity to develop a cooperation between the Rotarians.
